The goal of this logo was to create a clear, recognizable identity for Latvian Nosework that would stand apart from competitors while strongly communicating its origin and values. From the very beginning, it was important that the logo immediately signals what the organization represents and where it comes from.

Many nosework visuals rely on generic dog imagery or sport symbols, so the intention here was to avoid visual noise and clichés. Instead, the focus was placed on clarity, simplicity, and meaning. The logo needed to be easy to recognize, scalable across formats, and usable in both digital and print applications.

To highlight Latvia and a sense of patriotism, the Latvian flag was abstracted into a flowing, scent-like line - representing both national identity and the essence of nosework. The outline of Latvia reinforces the geographic connection, resulting in a logo that clearly communicates “Latvian Nosework” while remaining distinctive and easy to use across formats.
